Marllos Silva is an actor, director, playwright, producer and lighting designer.

Executive producer of more than 20 theatrical productions. Founder of the BIBI FERREIRA AWARD the most prestigious award for plays and musical theater in Brazil. Founder of the FPTM – Festival Paulista de Teatro Musical - São Paulo Musical Theater Festival - the first festival in the country dedicated exclusively to originals musical theater productions.

 

For more than 16 years has been dedicated to musical theater research. Worked with directors José Renato Pécora and Iacov Hillel.

Recently, he directed the musicals KAFKA AND THE DOLL, MADAGASCAR – A MUSICAL ADVENTURE, ENCANTO SING ALONG for The Walt Disney Company and CARLOS BAUZYS IN CONCERT, the workshop of the Brazilian musical A ESCRAVA ISAURA, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, USA.

He is the playwright of the plays KAFKA AND THE DOLL, AMOR & PÓLVORA and ASSIM DIRIA SHAKESPEARE and the musicals: NOS EMBALOS DA JOVEM GUARDA SHOW; NOS EMBALOS DA JOVEM GUARDA, AMOR, OLD B'DWAY; The following projects planed to be staged in 2024 are the play O EMBATE, and the musicals O EMPREGO DA DOR, NOEL X WILSON, DIAS DE SETEMBRO.

Translated the book ACTING SONGS, by David Brunetti, now preparing the PRACTICAL GUIDE TO THEATER PRODUCTION. Responsable to organize MUSICAL THEATER IN THE SAN PAULO 2000 to 2020.
